The Golden Rules of Airsoft

There are just some things that should never be done in the game of Airsoft. If you want to beat out the competition there are guidelines that you should follow to give your team the competitive edge that it needs. Listed below are the golden rules that should never be broken:

  • Do not reload in the line of open fire. Before you step onto a field with your opponents that are fully loaded and ready to aim at you make sure you are prepared. When you reload while dozens of people are aiming you give them a world of opportunity and time to effectively shoot you.
  • Make sure you are sticking with your team. Pay attention to the whereabouts, they are there to alert you of your opponents approach, provide you with back up support, and guidance.
  • Avoid becoming too distracted. This is a dangerous move and it opens you up to surprise gunfire. Keep your focus and attention on the game.
  • Don’t get left behind because you are dragging around too much equipment. Properly evaluate what things you will and will not need. For enhanced mobility our tactical vests come with the option of giving you storage for your supplies.
  • If you don’t wear the right gear for Airsoft not only are you not protected but it can affect your speed and accuracy. When you are equipped with the proper footwear and apparel you jump around, crouch, and run faster without constantly tripping or falling.
  • Underestimating your enemy is a fatal mistake. Before you go ahead and get too cocky make sure you assess the situation you’re walking into before you land yourself in a situation where you are surrounded by an army of gun fire.

  2. Xcellent article!

New Owners, Mommies: Be aware that many airsoft guns will still be able to fire a round even after the magazine is removed, because an un-fired BB may still be in the gun's firing chamber.
